1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using LogToDone ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

LogToDone is a productivity application that combines outliner functionality with proven productivity methodology. The Service includes web-based task management, note-taking, and organizational tools.

3. User Accounts

When you create an account with us, you must provide accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for:

  • Safeguarding your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
  • Upload malicious code or content
  • Collect user information without consent
  • Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited communications
  • Impersonate any person or entity

5. Your Content

You retain ownership of any content you create, upload, or store using the Service ("Your Content"). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to:

  • Store and backup Your Content
  • Display Your Content to you
  • Process Your Content to provide the Service features

We do not claim ownership of Your Content. You are solely responsible for Your Content and the consequences of sharing it.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content (excluding Your Content), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of LogToDone and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Our trademarks may not be used without our prior written consent.

7. AI Features

The Service includes optional AI-powered features for task classification and suggestions. When you use these features, portions of Your Content may be processed by third-party AI providers. You can disable AI features at any time in your settings. AI suggestions are provided as assistance only and should not be relied upon as professional advice.

8. Subscription and Payments

Some features of the Service require a paid subscription. By subscribing, you agree to:

  • Pay all fees according to the pricing plan you selected
  • That your subscription will automatically renew unless you cancel before the renewal date
  • Provide accurate billing information

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Founding member pricing is locked for the duration of continuous subscription.

Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as our Merchant of Record. Your payment transactions are also subject to Lemon Squeezy's terms of service.

9. Refunds

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for new subscriptions. If you're not satisfied, contact us within 30 days of your initial purchase for a full refund. Refunds for renewals are provided on a prorated basis at our discretion.

10. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any loss resulting from service interruptions.

11. Data Export

You may export Your Content at any time in standard formats (Markdown, JSON). Upon account termination, you will have 30 days to export your data before it is deleted.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. You may terminate your account at any time through your account settings.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

14. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LOGTODONE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY.

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

18. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless LogToDone, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another.

19. General Provisions

Severability: If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

Entire Agreement: These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you andLogToDone regarding the Service, superseding any prior agreements.

Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.
